If you do not have the theme you still may be able to get some sort of use out of it. The screencast talks you through creating a new taxonomy in the WordPress back-end then describes how to add the output to your template. It also describes various types of taxonomies.

If you want to learn more about taxonomies let me know and I will provide a more detailed tutorial on them. They are incredibly useful for things such as hosting parameters and ingredients for a recipe site.
